At The First Tee of Greater San Antonio, we believe young people of all ages and backgrounds deserve an opportunity to learn the game of golf and experience the inherent values associated. Our programs reinforce life and leadership skills, build character and self-esteem and promote healthy choices in children and teens.

The First Tee of Greater San Antonio is holding Speedgolf qualifiers at Mission Del Lago golf course. Our participants are trying to qualify for our local championship to be held on May 18. They are also trying to qualify for The First Tee National Championship to be held in Richmond Virginia June 27-30. Full field scores click below.

The First Tee, in conjunction with the PGA TOUR, is excited to once again offer an opportunity for participants of The First Tee of Greater San Antonio to cover the Valero Texas Open from their perspective. Junior Course Reporters will be asked to cover a wide variety of topics involved with the tournament. During the experience, Junior Course Reporters will post entries to their own blog housed on our website, thefirsttee.org, and pgatour.com and will gain insight into what it’s like to cover a professional golf event. They will also interact with golf media and PGA TOUR executives, and may have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session with the players.
